Yewfield is the perfect escape - set in 80 acres of private grounds with stunning views and numerous walks right from the doorstep, whether that be a good hike to the high peaks or a gentle stroll. The gardens offer a peaceful place to wander and sit and enjoy the views. Indoors you can relax on the sofas by the huge log burner with a good book or chatting to other guests. This area has a dark sky status so evenings can be spent star gazing from the grounds.

We have a variety of single, double and twin rooms available, all cosy, comfortable and individually decorated. Each room has an en suite bathroom and coffee and tea making facilities. Upgrade to a superior room if you want a bit more luxury and the best views (an extra £20 per room per night)

All meals are vegetarian and vegan, all freshly prepared and delicious. Breakfast is served in the conservatory. We provide packed lunches for day time excursions and dinner is served in the dining room. There is a kitchen and you are free to make coffee, tea and soft drinks whenever you wish. There will be lots of cake on arrival and after walks.

Each morning starts with Ashtanga yoga. You can choose between the traditional Mysore style method for those of you with some knowledge of the sequence and who wish to work at their own pace. Or a teacher led Ashtanga class for those with less experience or who prefer to be told what to do! Choose whichever class you want on the day. The studio is built just outside the main hose with a wood floor, log burner and exquisite views, practising as the sun rises.

The afternoons are spent in any way you wish. You may wish to take time out for yourself to rest, read or explore. Or you may wish to join in guided hikes with lots of opportunity for cold water swims, potential barefoot walking and walking in silence. Have as much or as little adventure as you wish.

In the early evenings we will return to the studio. There may be journaling and chat followed by either breathwork, meditation or restorative yoga and always deep rest in the form of yoga nidra. Followed by dinner. Evenings can be spent buy the fire but there will also be night time walks to experience the proper dark skies and starlight.

The retreat is open to everyone and to all levels of experience - from complete beginners to advanced. Many people come as solo travellers so don't worry about booking alone.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to get in touch.
