The peaceful practice of Yoga will transform your life.
19 years ago ashtanga yoga transformed my life. Since then, the physical and mental benefits of daily practise have rewarded me with strength, flexibility and focus. 15 years ago I decided to share my practice and it’s philosophy with others. Over the years that I have been teaching I have seen many others gain enormously from this practice. I want to continue to share these benefits with as many people as possible whether they be dedicated students who want to study in the traditional Mysore method or those new to ashtanga yoga or yoga entirely.

Join me for some early autumn sunshine in the south of Italy where I will be running a 4 day Ashtanga retreat focussing on slowing down and deepening your practice. Information on the holiday below.
Situated in Abruzzo, Italy our guest house is in the small village of Rapino in the foothills of the Majella mountains. At the bottom of the hill is the beach and the Adriatic coast. At the top is the ski-resort and the Majella mountain range.
We located part way between the beach of Francavilla al Mare and the small ski-resort of Passo Lanciano, both within 30mins drive away.
The local area is very quiet, non-touristy and boasts beautiful architecture and stunning scenery! The majority of locals live from the land having their own small plots growing olives, grapes, vegetables and herbs as well as rearing their own livestock. There are a few grocer shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance.
The area is also famous for Montepulciano wine, which you will have ample opportunity to sample during your stay.
Yoga practice will take place either on the outdoor terrace or in the newly renovated grain store, both have beautiful views across the olive groves and snow capped mountains.
Yoga mats and blankets can be provided if needed.
We can pick you up from either Chieti Scalo station (you can take the airport bus from Rome to here) or Pescara airport, both around 30mins drive from the house.
Each day will begin with an early yoga session followed by a buffet breakfast.
During the day there will be the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding area including the following optional activities:
'Goat Trail' walking.
Vineyard visit with wine tasting.
Chieti, the local city visit.
Gorge walk including ancient monuments.
and plenty more...
or just relax at the house!
On return there will be an early evening yoga session focussing on techniques with some pranayama and yoga nidra. This will be followed by our evening meal.
We will provide buffet breakfast to include cereals, yogurts, pastries, fruit, juice, packed lunch and evening meals with wine.
We will venture out on one evening to the wonderful 'Il Tiglio' restaurant for an amazing meal of local produce. The other evenings, we will be cooking for you in house using all local produce and wine.
Our kitchen facilities limit us to only providing 2 food options per meal. So currently we are able to provide for vegetarians and meat eaters. We cannot accommodate vegan diets or any serious allergies however there is a kitchen available for those wishing to prepare any meals themselves.
Price includes shared accommodation, all yoga tuition and food.
*A deposit of £200 is required to secure each booking.
